In the beginning, Rawalpindi development authority had issued preliminary planning permission to blue world city for around 427 kanal against the vide letter no. 532/10/DC dated: 07-08-2018. After a while, another application was submitted which stated that BWC Islamabad was illegitimate. In response to that application, the owners of BWC filed a lawsuit against RDA.
The district council Rawalpindi approved the NOC of blue world city and Rawalpindi session court led the case in the favour of housing society. The jurisdiction conflict between RDA and district council was resolved by the government after introducing local-bodies ordinance. According to this law, all the housing societies will be given approval from district council.
The NOC of Blue world city is again under the process of getting approved by RDA. The owners are positive that the project will get RDA approved shortly.
